Bob was a fun, good-natured guy who sat next to me in choir in 8th grade.  We went to Sadie Hawkins!  I'm sorry to hear that he died!

I remember Bob most from my 6th grade class at Highlands Elementary.  He was always upbeat.  Sorry to hear about his death.

I played tennis with Bob and we were both on the Edina High School tennis team. I only now learned of his passing, and that he lived nearby on Cape Cod for many years. I wish I had known my high school friend in Minnesota was also a longtime neighbor on this pennisula. Christopher Busa

Your nickname to the football team was "the toe" - you made the P.A.T. an automatic for the Hornets.  To the best of my knowledge (our resident sports expert, Bruce Brothers, would probably concur) you were the first player to ever use a special kicking shoe - it was an early model leather ski boot with a square toe and NO cleats.  The fact that the sole was smooth gave you absolutely no traction when the hike to Doug King was low, he tossed it back to you and you took off for the end zone.  My memory fails me here, but I'm sure you scored - otherwise, we would have carried you off on a stretcher - and I don't remember us doing that.  Your form is etched in our yearbook photo's memories entitled "2000 seconds of practice" - thanks for being a teammate and friend.

I was really sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We were in homeroom together Senior year. Always had a great time. I was hoping to reconnect with him at the Reunion. Sad loss.
