I was shocked and saddened to see that Toni has passed away. We dated for most of the first half of our senior year. She was so full of life, and always ready for a new adventure. She was extremely intelligent, one of the top 10 scholars at Edina, but never acted like she was something special. Toni had a photographic memory, and told me that she could visualize the text book page that an answer to a test question was on. Toni was a special person, and those of us that knew her were fortunate to be able to call her our friend.

I also knew Toni in high school and met her again at the UofM.  She was a very intelligent young woman, and very classy looking.  I was depressed to learn she died so young, as have too many of our classmates.  May she rest in peace.

I also remember Toni.  She was a very intelligent girl as well as an adventurous friend. We went and  saw The Trashmen (The Bird is the Word !) playing in Bloomington our Senior Year.  We had further adventures that night. Let's just say, we got out of a potentially difficult situation when I said,  " I know you!  You go to my church! " We got home safe and sound, smiley

I am very much saddened to learn of Toni's passing. I knew her casually in high school and church and then, after we graduated, we became reacquainted again when she transferred to the U of M. I can still remember how she looked the day we bumped into each other on the steps to the student union. At first we became good friends then we became much, much more than just friends. She was an exciting, beautiful, intelligent woman. It was only because of my bad choices and actions that caused our relationship to end in the late 1960's. I have regretted it ever since. I miss you Tone-Bone, forever, Cyman.

The video, above, of the Trashmen, is for you, Betsy, your wonderful memories of Toni and your night out to attend the concert. Someone posted this only last month and it brought back memories of some of the crazy music and dances of our youth. RIP dear Toni. Gone too soon.

In 1990, Toni sent me a short video of her dancing with her partner in a national amateur ballroom competition. Ballroom dancing was Toni's passion as evidenced in this four dance recording. I recently had the video transferred to DVD. It can be viewed at: www.yesvideo.com. I just finished watching Toni, and her partner, in the dance competition that you posted. Thank you for putting it on line.  She was so beautiful and graceful. It would have been fun to attend one of her competitions, and then congratulate her in person after her performance. It is such a shame that she passed away so young.

Elaine, I also watched the videos of Toni's dance competition. So lovely and graceful. What a talented dancer she was! Thanks for sharing the video with us. Would have been great to see her on the dance floor at our reunion! So sorry she is no longer with us. A loss for us all.

Elaine,  thanks for sharing the videos with us. I loved watching them.  Toni was an extremely graceful dancer!  How sad she passed away at such a young age.
