I became friends with Diane in Wooddale elementary school. She had a brittle form of Type 1 diabetes, so always had to be careful of her diet and activities. At that time they didn't know how to regulate insulin. She married young and I remember visiting her and her baby boy during one of my college breaks. She was such a sweet proud mommy and a beautiful person. I have a picture of Diane, her husband and son Mikey from 1967 which I will try to scan and post. We lost touch after I graduated from college and I heard later that she had died too young.
I didn't know Diane well, but have a clear memory of her in my English class, where she excelled. She was a lovely, quiet person. She had died by the time of our first class Reunion - I remember seeing her photo there.
i dont know about this font and etc, or whether or not these words will land within the solar system...but i knew diane nettum...took her the the prom. she was about the brightest, most cheery, warm person i remember from edina. what a sad shock, her dying so young.

Diane was a wonderful person; I enjoyed knowing her when we were young. I'm so sorry that she passed too soon.
