I'm so sorry to hear that Jim passed away.  I remember his smiling face and his kind demeanor.  We car-pooled while going to the U. of M.  for awhile.  He was just such a nice guy.  All the best Jim!

I am sorry to hear about Jim's passing.  We knew each other since about kindergarten age in south Minneapolis.  He was a quiet and sweet person, with a very nice smile.   I am sorry he is gone. Rest in peace.

I knew Jim quite well, since we were in choir throughout high school.  We were in Gilbert and Sullivan operettas together, and a number of us went carolling to Ebenezer patients at Christmas-time.  He had a strong, beautiful bass voice.

I also saw Jim years later at the University of Minnesota, which we both attended.  I received Christmas letters from him for several years. In the last one, he announced that he was getting married.  It was when I was tracking down classmates for this reunion that I was shocked to learn that he had died.  They don't come nicer than Jim!

All these years I did not know that Jim was one day younger than I. I have never met anyone who was born on the same day, Jim was the closest I have ever come. Think of that, one day apart!!. Wish I had known that years ago.

I remember Jim from our gradeschool days. He was the cousin of my neighbor that lived across the alley from me in South Mpls.  When Jim and John would come over to visit their cousins we would all play together.  It was so fun having so many kids to play with, I remember Jim as being pretty quiet and a really nice person.

Life passes so quickly, when I close my eyes and think, I can visualize all of us kids playing and just having a really good time together.

Sorry you passed so early, Jim.

Rest in peace.
