"Journey of Hope - Inspirational Thoughts From a Woman With Cancer"

“Janice was a very artistic and creative person, always vigilant for new opportunities to express what was in her mind and heart.

At the time she wrote this poetry, the Internet was very new and limited. She would have loved the Internet, with its endless opportunities for education and self-expression. I can easily imagine her embracing it’s planet-girdling capabilities for the grade school children she taught, as well as for enhancing her own personal growth.

She would have greatly welcomed the opportunity to publish her poems on the Internet so that she could share with others who might be experiencing similar battles with cancer.

Janice died in 1990 before ever becoming aware of the potential of the Internet. Her poems had been carefully typed and filed in a folder, waiting for the day they could be published.

I have now published Jan’s poetry on the Internet, as well as created this book, in the hopes that her dream is now realized.”
