Our classmate, Peter (Pete) Gardner, died February 15, 2022 at his home in Bettendorf, IA, in the company of his family after a battle with cancer. He was a Navy veteran and is survived by his wife, Carole, son, Andrew and daughter, Jennifer.
Our condolences to his family. He will be missed by his classmates.
"He was a gentleman and person of strong faith. I'll miss his visits to the Twin Cities. RIP Pete."

To all,
Pete and I joined the Navy in 1962. We were in the reserves during highschool. We went on as a Corpsman and I went on to naval air.
He was a good person and I sure wished we had kept in touch.

I knew Pete all the way through junior high and high school, he was a good friend we spent a lot of time together in the Red Cross program in school. R.I.P my friend ! you will be missed by all 🙏
