after 73 years on this planet is that you dare not forb h, football games,Jeez!  This is one obit that I absolutely dreaded to see!  Gerry and I spent a lot of time together.  Lots of great memories with Gerry including the first Muhammad Ali championship fight, the Kennedy asssination, high school graduation and then losing track of each other,  I sincerely regret not staying in touch with him but like too many of us, I thought that there would always be time to renew our friendship, but it was not to be. I even thought that I would see him at the 50th 4 years ago.  It that opportunity was not to be either.  Hard lesson to learn after 73 years on the planet: don't let A Y opportunities pass by because you can't e EVER get em back again !!  'Tis site affords all of us an opportunity to reconnect t with those we love and loved before.

Jeff, I could not agree more with your comment on Jerry.  At this point in our lives time is fleeting.  We need to let our friends and significant others know what they meant to us before we or they go.  Nice tribute.

I do remember Geralds face when I look at his picture from high school..After 54 years I cant remember the class but I do remember he left a very favorable impression in my memory. We all had that close group of friends, maybe only one person, but we knew so many others by their faces. I had to go through my old year book and I still remember over half the class by their old pictures. Gerald was a face I never forgot..He left a positive lasting memory. In my year book we all remain young and fresh looking and never grow old. But than reality returns. I still think young and would enjoy being back at edina High school for one last day .  This time I would realize how different each life is,  knowing our paths would cross so  rarely in peace Gerald
