We did it! Thanks to the coordinating committee, the weather gods, & everyone who came to our birthday party- it was a Great Success!!!
We didn't get to the bonfire and the croquet game!
Maybe next time!
There was a suggestion that we do it more often and build on the momentum if a successful 1st outing! As long as I own the property, it is certainly a possibility.
And of course, if anyone has it in their heads they would like to own a five acre hobby farm, ready to go, let me know- you can take over and continue as custodian of our piece of nature!
The plans could be made so people would plan their summer to be here for a predetermined weekend, and we would let the party roll!
But for a first run, it was perfect!
My wife Eileen, and Maggie Mae, the dog both enjoyed getting to know some of you better.
Thanks for spending the day with us- number of people worked out ideal!

I was shocked to see the obit last Sunday! She and  Pat had the Edina life after high school. I send my condolences to the entire family.

Hey, I thought you posted something new, then I realized it was your birthday last weekend!
Happy Birthday!
Read through all the dialogue- you have had great opportunities abroad, even endured Peace Corps in the old days! I wouldn't have traded my 3 years in Malaysia for anything!
The times I have been at Laguna Seca & Carmel, I knew you lived in the area but didn't know how to connect. Now this Facebook contact keeps the Edina pulse alive!
Sorry, but this year I think I am heading east again to go racing in Virginia!
Regards, Mark

I went to David Brenner's Memorial Service today. John Nelson was there, the only other member of our class.

Dsvid was very accomplished as a machinist, tool & die maker, mechanic  & craftsman. I am sorry I didn't know him in my adult life- his talents may have helped me! May he rest In peace !

Great to see such a positive response!
I know some people haven't signed on to the page yet, but I am looking forward to seeing everyone in September. It is nice to have photos so you get a glimpse of how 50 years has taken its toll!
