Erik Lane Hewlett

After graduation from Edina High School, my family moved away and I attended Westminster College in Fulton Missouri, as premed and biology/philosophy major. After medical school at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore (where I met my wife Jane) and house staff training at New York Hospital/Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, I worked at the National Institutes of Health for four years and have been on the faculty of the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Infectious Diseases and International Health since 1980. We are very fortunate to live in the lovely community of Charlottesville, Virginia.
I will make it to the reunion in September!

I am retired from University of Virginia Medical School faculty (after 42 years) and Jane and I recently moved to Annapolis, MD. We are across the street from our son, Christopher (anthropologist) and his wife, Kathleen McInnis and their two sons, James (18 mos) and John (2 mos).
