I moved into the condo this past weekend. I am very sore from all of the lifting, but at least I had some family to help on this end. My new address is 4001 Heritage Hills Dr, #102, Bloomington, MN 55437. My cell phone remains the same 862-432-5601. The job that brought me back here changed and I had to decline it...so I am looking!

This past Thursday I left Alabama with a loaded16 foot truck and drove to Minnesota. The temperature difference in the 1100 miles went from 88 to 20's. It has been about 20 years since I lived in Minnesota and I had forgotten about the cold. My heavy jackets were packed ready for 3 weeks of storage while I wait to move into the condo. I drove straight through and then unloaded the truck on Friday afternoon. I can hardly wait to do this again in 3 weeks when I will have to reload a truck and move everything from Brooklyn Park to Bloomington. I am just very happy that the trip was mostly event-free and I arrived safely! I am currently staying at the Extended Stay in Brooklyn Center and will post my new address as soon as I am able to move in the beginning of November.

I so wish I could be with everyone tomorrow for the 50th Reunion...I will be thinking of y'all and hope you have a wonderful time!!! Blessings!

Thanks so much to those of you that have taken the time to send a little note of encouragement. I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life (I really should write a book for two). I will certainly miss the warm weather that we have down in Alabama during the winter, but this past winter was awful...lots of snow...people would just get out of their vehicles on the interstate and walk away. As you probably know, we have no snow removal equipment down here. There were four different times that happened due to snow accumulation -- a record, for sure.

My breathing is much better now, but I am still having trouble with sneezes and coughs and can do very little lifting (problematic for move preparation). I had to sleep sitting up at first due to the pain -- not nice!

Please stay in touch -- maybe a Saturday get together later for those interested -- I will update the site with my new address in Bloomington soon and my job will be in St. Louis Park, so it will be familiar territory!

I am wishing all of you a great 50th Reunion. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to join you. July 30th I had a car accident in Alabama which totaled my car and fractured several ribs and cracked my sternum. I was in the process of moving back to Minnesota to begin a job on September 1st, but that has had to be moved back to the first week of October due to the accident.

I hope you all have a wonderful time and I will look forward to seeing pictures of the event. If there are to be other get-togethers, please let me know!
